New Training Opportunity!!
Health and Safety & Fire
26th June 2012 1.30pm – 4.30pm
This is a chance for you to take part in the first of our free training courses to help those who use self directed support, their families and staff to get training that will help all of you.
Values Into Action Scotland have received Scottish Government funding to deliver training to people using self directed support; their staff and family. Our first courses on Health and Safety & Fire are being held on 26th June at Hillington in Glasgow.
What the courses covers: You will learn the basics of Health and Safety and Fire Safety Awareness. Whether you are an employer, a family member or staff, everyone will learn how to keep safe.
We will look at helping you to stay safe while doing the things that you want to do. It is not about using the rules to stop you doing things.
You will learn what you need to do according to the law:-
- report & record accidents & incidents
- recognising hazards
- cutting risk from accidents & incidents, infection and substances hazardous to health
If the area where we are delivering the training is not suitable for you please contact us. We will do our best to deliver a course nearer to you but there may be a cost involved depending on where you live.
